Feature Request

Now that the file tree/sidebar has returned, it would be very useful to have an option to show or hide hidden folders (dot folders) such as:

  • .git
  • .vscode
  • .idea
  • .next
  • node_modules

Many projects contain a large number of generated or tooling-related directories that make the sidebar noisy and harder to navigate.

Suggested behavior:

  • Add a setting or toggle for showing hidden folders/files
  • Allow users to collapse or completely hide specific folders from the sidebar
  • Similar to VSCode explorer exclude behavior

This would make navigating large repositories much cleaner and improve usability significantly.

Another batch ranked right after the header list — different links, same matching logic.
