What's Wrong?

What's Wrong? Description I subscribed to Claude Pro (yearly plan) on May 1, 2026. The subscription activated successfully but today, May 28, 2026, my account was silently reverted to the Free plan with no warning, no cancellation email, and no action from my side. I am logging in with the exact same account tied to the billing -- this is not a wrong-account issue. Timeline

Subscribed / paid: May 1, 2026 Subscription period: May 1, 2026 -- May 1, 2027 Worked correctly: ~27 days Downgraded to Free plan: May 28, 2026 Current status: Account shows Free plan, invoice #XGVQFSG1-0004 is still visible and marked as Paid.

What I have already tried

Confirmed I am logged in with the correct account (Jijo, same email used for billing). Checked the Billing section -- invoice shows $200 Paid, amount remaining $0.00, no refund or cancellation. The Billing page also shows a second charge of $200 on May 16, 2026, yet the account still shows Free.

Evidence

Invoice #XGVQFSG1-0004 from Anthropic, PBC -- Claude Pro, $200.00, Paid on May 1, 2026, covering May 1, 2026 -- May 1, 2027. No cancellation or refund initiated from my side. This is an entitlement mismatch between the billing system and the account plan.

What Should Happen?

The Claude Pro yearly subscription should remain active for the full paid period (May 1, 2026 -- May 1, 2027). After successful payment of $200 (invoice shows Paid, amount remaining $0.00), the account should stay on the Pro plan with full access until May 1, 2027.

Error Messages/Logs

No error message is displayed. The account silently reverted to the Free plan today (May 28, 2026). The Billing section still shows invoice #XGVQFSG1-0004 as Paid with no indication of cancellation or downgrade

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Subscribe to Claude Pro yearly plan ($200).
  2. Payment is confirmed -- invoice issued, $200 charged, amount remaining $0.00.
  3. Use the subscription normally for ~27 days (works correctly).
  4. Account automatically and silently downgrades to Free plan on May 28, 2026.
  5. Check Billing page -- invoice is still visible and shows as Paid.
  6. No cancellation, no email, no warning.
