Dispatch in Claude Desktop (Cowork tab) permanently shows "Desktop appears offline / O Desktop está off-line" on both the desktop app itself and the mobile app. This happens even with Claude Desktop running normally on Windows 11.

Dispatch should recognize the active Claude Desktop session and show the desktop as "online", allowing tasks to be sent from the mobile app to the desktop.

What's Wrong?

Dispatch in Claude Desktop (Cowork tab) permanently shows "Desktop appears offline / O Desktop está off-line" on both the desktop app itself and the mobile app. This happens even with Claude Desktop running normally on Windows 11.

Steps already tried:

  • Restarted CoworkVMService via PowerShell (Admin) — no errors
  • Logged out and back in on both desktop and mobile apps (multiple times)
  • Both apps fully updated to latest version
  • Same Wi-Fi network, no VPN or firewall active
  • No bridge-state.json found in C:\Users\Dell.claude\
  • Regular Cowork tasks appear functional

What Should Happen?

Dispatch should recognize the active Claude Desktop session and show the desktop as "online", allowing tasks to be sent from the mobile app to the desktop.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install Claude Desktop v1.260521.20 on Windows 11
  2. Sign in with a Pro/Max account
  3. Open the Cowork tab in the left sidebar
  4. Click on Dispatch
  5. Enable "Manter ativo" (Keep Awake) toggle
  6. Open Claude mobile app (latest version) on Android/iOS
  7. Navigate to Dispatch section in the mobile app
  8. Attempt to send any message

Expected: Desktop shows as online and receives the message Actual: Both desktop and mobile show "O Desktop está off-line. Será executado quando reconectar." (Desktop appears offline. Will run when it reconnects.)

Note: Issue occurs on first use — Dispatch has never worked on this machine. No prior working state exists.
