Problem Statement

When hovering over a message in the Claude Desktop app, the hover menu shows "Copy as Markdown" and "Copy with context" — but there is no plain "Copy" button for copying only selected text. Users who want to copy a specific portion must use Cmd+C, which is not discoverable from the hover menu UI.

Proposed Solution

Add a plain "Copy" button to the message hover menu in Claude Desktop app. Clicking it copies only the currently selected text within the message. If no text is selected, it could fall back to copying the full message.
