Root Cause

I'm trying so hard to stay a customer and I feel like this app is designed to not work well. The model is refusing to do things, there's no internet access for automations, filing tickets seems like a giant waste of time. Was told last time to not be a customer because the app doesn't work. [EDIT: in this bug report you're asking me to run commands on my computer - I've paid for Codex to run applications but OpenAI has decided I can't access the internet from my own computer. That's weird]

Insecure - Mac M1

What issue are you seeing?

Automations run, have errors, they are archived and can't be seen.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Run an automation, hope it works, probably won't, can't see why.

What is the expected behavior?

Automations run, don't archive themselves.

extent analysis

TL;DR

  • The issue may be related to the app's automation archiving behavior, and a potential workaround could be to investigate the automation settings or error handling mechanisms.

Guidance

  • Review the automation settings to see if there are any options to prevent automatic archiving of failed automations.
  • Check if there are any error logs or reports available for the automations that are being archived, to understand the cause of the errors.
  • Investigate if the "Insecure - Mac M1" platform or the "Max" subscription plan have any specific limitations or restrictions that could be contributing to the issue.
  • Consider reaching out to the Codex App support team again, providing more detailed information about the automations and errors, to get a more specific solution or guidance.

Notes

  • The issue report lacks technical details about the automations and errors, making it difficult to provide a more specific solution.
  • The mention of "no internet access for automations" and the edit about not being able to access the internet from the computer suggests that there might be some network or permission issues at play.

Recommendation

  • Apply workaround: Given the lack of information about a fixed version or a clear solution, applying a workaround such as investigating automation settings or error handling mechanisms seems like the most viable option.
