What's Wrong?

Describe the bug: I renewed my Claude Max plan on May 3, 2026 and was successfully charged $110.00 (Receipt #2840-1026-1164). My invoice in claude.ai Settings > Billing shows "Paid". However, on May 5, 2026, my account reverted to Free plan and all Max features are disabled.

Important: I am a claude.ai subscriber (Claude Desktop / Claude Code user). I do NOT use the Anthropic API. Please do not look at "Zero's Individual Org" API organization - that is unrelated to this billing issue.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Renewed Claude Max plan on May 3, 2026
  2. Payment of $110.00 confirmed by both Anthropic invoice and bank statement
  3. Account showed Max plan for ~2 days
  4. On May 5, account reverted to Free plan with no notification

Expected behavior: Claude Max plan remains active for the full subscription period.

Actual behavior: Account shows Free plan. Max features disabled. Invoice shows "Paid" but subscription not active.

Evidence:

  • Anthropic email receipt: #2840-1026-1164
  • Bank statement confirms $110.00 charged on May 3, 2026
  • Invoice in claude.ai shows "Paid"
  • Mobile app still displays "Max" label but features are disabled

Support attempts:

  • Multiple tickets opened with Fin AI Agent (Conversation ID: 215474177497803)
  • Fin keeps searching API org instead of claude.ai account
  • All tickets closed without resolution
  • Fin suggested "Resubscribe" which would result in double payment

Request: Human billing agent to investigate claude.ai account and either:

  1. Manually activate Claude Max plan using existing payment, OR
  2. Issue full refund of $110.00

What Should Happen?

After a successful payment of $110.00, my Claude Max plan should remain active for the full subscription period without reverting to Free plan.

  • Fin suggested resubscribing (which would result in double payment)

Account details:

  • claude.ai Max plan subscriber (Claude Desktop user)
  • NOT an API user - please do not look at API organization
  • Receipt #2840-1026-1164
  • Payment confirmed by both Anthropic invoice and bank statement (BIDV Mastercard)
