The paste is ignored / not inserted into the Ask prompt. The only apparent workaround is to type the answer manually.

Bug Description

The Ask tool prompt in the new TUI does not accept pasted text. Text can be entered only by manually typing it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start Hermes using the new TUI.
  2. Trigger an Ask/clarification prompt where the agent asks the user a question.
  3. Try to paste text into the Ask prompt/input.

Expected Behavior

Pasted text should be inserted into the Ask prompt, the same way normal manual typing works.

Actual Behavior

The paste is ignored / not inserted into the Ask prompt. The only apparent workaround is to type the answer manually.

Notes

Reported by user. This is specifically for the new TUI, not the classic CLI UI.
