What's Wrong?

I don't manage to launch claude code IDE on my mac. My mac runs version 26.2 (25C56). I tried to install claude code IDE desktop app multiple times, but it doesn't launch. First time I installed it and launched it it was asking me whether I grant access to my files (or something similar) and I clicked "no" by mistake. After that It wouldn't launch even after I deinstalled it and removed all the packages and files. And then tried to install again and launch, but it's still the same message: The message says I need to check for updates or contact support: <img width="184" height="161" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/4559e7bc-6738-4658-a491-580bdcf7fb7b" /> There are no crash reports in the console.

What Should Happen?

Claude code IDE should launch.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install claude code ide for desktop.
  2. Launch the dmg and move the claude code app to applications.
  3. Launch Claude code app.
  4. Dialog asks whether to open the app from the internet, click open.
  5. Another dialog asks whether I grant access to files - click "no".
  6. The app fails to launch.
  7. Uninstall it and remove all the related files
  8. Download and install it again.
  9. Launch it.
