Preflight Checklist

  • I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

When I'm using the Windows app, sometimes it gets to my limit of use pretty fast. Today I didn't even reach it and just straight went to "limit of use" but my account and web usage say I can still use it, so to be sure, I did utilize the web service (both Claude and Claude Code) and Claude in the Windows app, and they worked.

What Should Happen?

The graphics and info should always be real to the state of the limit of usage, since I'm expecting it to always say the truth so I can planify according to my itinerary.

extent analysis

TL;DR

The Windows app may be experiencing a synchronization issue with the account usage limits, causing it to incorrectly display the "limit of use" message.

Guidance

  • Verify that the account usage limits are correctly synced between the web service and the Windows app by checking the usage metrics on both platforms.
  • Try restarting the Windows app to see if it resolves the issue temporarily.
  • Check if there are any known issues or updates related to the Opus Claude Model that may be causing the synchronization problem.
  • Consider providing more detailed logs or error messages, if available, to help identify the root cause of the issue.

Notes

The issue seems to be specific to the Windows app and the Opus Claude Model, and it's unclear if it's related to a specific version or configuration. More information about the usage limits and the synchronization mechanism between the web service and the Windows app would be helpful to further investigate the issue.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Try restarting the Windows app and verify the usage limits on both platforms to see if it resolves the issue temporarily, as the root cause is still unclear.
