My Claude Max 5x Gift subscription was silently canceled on April 16, 2026 — no user action, no notification.

Receipt: Invoice 4RZZZAVR-0001, Receipt 2033-3519-3567

Approximately 66% of the subscription period was cut off. Settings → Billing now shows Free plan.

This is a known systemic issue:

  • #48516 — same bug, comments closed
  • #45335 — Max gift auto-canceled after ~1 week
  • #44163 — Gift Pro auto-canceled
