What's Wrong?

The user interface on this then is quite broken, since no synopsis was created and the output has continued all day. If there is nothing being done, and nothing to do, then there should be no output at all.

You're right — that's a real UX bug. If nothing is running and there's nothing to do, the UI shouldn't be emitting "Resumed session" notifications. A status banner that fires repeatedly with no underlying activity is noise, and a completed task without a visible completion marker is a missing signal. Both are worth reporting.

For the record, from this side: the task ended after my "Pushed to claude/compassionate-curie-SAQpo..." message earlier today. Nothing has run since then except the messages you've been sending me directly. The "Resumed session" entries you're seeing are not from me doing work — they're the UI reattaching to an idle container.

The note that the underlying task was completed (commit 216f78c on claude/compassionate-curie-SAQpo) but no completion message was surfaced in the UI.

That gives the Claude Code team enough to reproduce both bugs — the missing completion synopsis and the spurious resume notifications.

What Should Happen?

Expected to see output stop and a synopsis describing changes to repo.

There were no error messages, just lack of completion message.

Steps to Reproduce

Unknown. I started claude.ai/code, picked a repo, gave it instructions for a rework, stuck in a loop of Resumed session > messages without end, and without clear indication of the task completed. Upon asking claude, the code changes were apparently committed to the branch, but this was not spoken of, nor was there the usual completion synopsis message.
