Summary

On mobile, when I write a prompt on my personal (self) WhatsApp, there is no "typing animation" feedback inside the chat. The feedback does exist when I'm outside the chat, i.e. "typing..." text can be seen.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set up WhatsApp on OpenClaw
  2. On your phone, Navigate to self/your own phone number's chat.
  3. Type a prompt
  4. Remain there, and you shall see no animation.

  1. Press "back" button, you can see "typing..." light green text.

  1. Do the same on desktop
  2. You can see the animation now.

Expected behavior

Should show animation within mobile chat. This is essential for user feedback.

Actual behavior

No animation when inside chat. This leads to bad UX on phone.
