extent analysis

TL;DR

The issue can likely be resolved by reverting to the previous version of Claude Code, 2.1.108, where the functionality was working as expected.

Guidance

  • Verify that the issue persists across different models to confirm if it's a model-specific problem or a general issue with the "/status" command.
  • Check the release notes for version 2.1.109 to see if there are any known issues or changes that could be causing the broken stats display.
  • Attempt to reproduce the issue in a different environment or terminal to rule out any platform-specific issues.
  • Consider reaching out to the developers or community for further assistance, as the issue seems to be a regression introduced in the latest version.

Notes

The lack of error messages or logs makes it challenging to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue. Given that the functionality worked in the previous version, it's reasonable to suspect that the problem might be related to changes introduced in version 2.1.109.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Revert to version 2.1.108 of Claude Code, as it is confirmed to be working as expected. This is a temporary solution until the issue is addressed in a future update.
