What's Wrong?

Hi, I'm reporting a persistent connection issue with Claude Desktop on Mac.

Issue: ECONNRESET error preventing all use of Claude Desktop

Details: Operating System: macOS Desktop App Version: Latest version (as of May 19, 2026) Error Code: ECONNRESET Duration: 2 weeks

What's happening: Claude Desktop has been completely unusable for 2 weeks with continuous ECONNRESET errors. The same account works fine on other devices.

What we've tried: Restarting the app and computer multiple times

Confirming internet connection works normally Not using a VPN Running as administrator No security software is being used No firewall changes have been made The issue is device-specific - other devices can use Claude Desktop without problems using the same account.

What Should Happen?

Claude Desktop should be operational. It's not operational at all.
