- Install OpenClaw Gateway >= v2026.5.12 (or use ClawX which bundles it)
- Install OpenClaw Android app v2026.4.5 from Google Play
- Generate pairing QR via openclaw qr
- Scan from app and tap Connect
Expected behavior
App pairs successfully and appears in openclaw devices list
Actual behavior
Gateway logs:

Additional notes
- #84282 and #84287 were both closed by clawsweeper bot as duplicates of each other, leaving no open canonical thread
- This affects ALL Play Store Android users trying to connect to any Gateway >= v2026.5.12
- No v4-compatible Android APK appears to be published anywhere
