Bug description Pressing the Tab key in Claude Code Desktop app causes the app to crash. It seems Tab triggers autocomplete and floods the input with a large amount of data, causing macOS to force-quit the app.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Claude Code Desktop app
  2. Open a session
  3. Press the Tab key

Expected behavior Tab key should work normally (or do nothing).

Actual behavior App crashes immediately after pressing Tab.

Environment

  • Claude Desktop version: 1.8089.1
  • macOS: darwin 24.5.0
  • Machine: Mac (Apple Silicon)
