What's Wrong?

I am writing to report two issues with my Claude Pro account. First, I have an unexpected overdue charge of $20.00 dated April 29, 2026, which I do not understand, as my regular monthly invoice of $20.00 on April 10, 2026 was already paid successfully. Having two charges in the same billing month is unusual, and I would like an explanation before making any payment. Second, my recent chat history disappeared suddenly this morning 4/29. I have lost chat history across multiple areas of my account: (1) My general chat history is missing from April 17–28, 2026. (2) Under my 'Job Application' Project, all recent chats are gone — the most recent is from 29 days ago. (3) Under Claude Code, two entire projects I created have disappeared completely. Both claude.ai and Claude Desktop are affected. I am not sure whether these two issues are related, but I wanted to report both together so they can be investigated. Please advise on why the April 29 charge was generated and help me recover my missing chat history. Thank you.

What Should Happen?

The unexpected $20.00 charge dated April 29, 2026 should be explained or removed, as my regular monthly invoice of $20.00 was already paid on April 10, 2026. Additionally, All chat history and projects should be fully restored, including the Job Application Project chats and the two Claude Code projects.
