The beginning process should allow everything to be done in the UI or after the terminal setup should allow easy access to the UI. there are ways of doing this that would not compromise security.

  1. needing to set up a token then having to get the token, then having to remember it or copy it, but then only after you get the token you then have to setup an allowlist......
  2. it should bind automaticlaly to 0.0.0.0.
  3. most if not all the steps in manual should just be in onboarding. the lan, the token, the tailscale etc.

Impact and severity

The way to go about this is you allow for easy access to the UI (this provides psychological abilities to just use the tool)

also, when working with setting up multiple of these it reduces the need to have to open the config then get the key etc etc.

this allows the setup to occur by just getting or i could set up a token and or user name and password on frst login or use. Then there is a large screen that warns about security concerns and the default on that screen is you need a token etc. but it allows for not needing to worry about the 5 additionsl steps of

TOKEN PASSWORD BIND Allow browser, and.....am i even doing this correct? is this config even right .....
