Root Cause

I can't because can't move from authnetication step.

What happened?

I start gemini. I authenticate via web, then it asks me for a second verification where I need to use my mobile to get a SMS back to a phone number. Phone number is 244444 and it's not valid in Denmark so whenever I try to hit send it doesn't work. I'm stuck and can't use a different alternative.

What did you expect to happen?

To be able to authenticate my phone number and use gemini.

extent analysis

TL;DR

The issue can be resolved by using a valid phone number that can receive SMS in Denmark.

Guidance

  • Verify that the phone number format is correct and supported by the SMS service used by Gemini.
  • Check if there are any alternative authentication methods available that do not require a phone number.
  • Consider contacting Gemini support to report the issue and ask for assistance with authentication.
  • If possible, try using a different phone number that is valid in Denmark to test if the issue is specific to the number 244444.

Notes

The issue seems to be specific to the phone number 244444 not being valid in Denmark, and there is no clear indication of a technical issue with the Gemini service itself.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Use a different valid phone number that can receive SMS in Denmark to complete the authentication process.
