it happens not working in main, make a worktree in another folder (not codex's worktree).

opening both thread and diff panel, crash.

extent analysis

TL;DR

The issue can be mitigated by avoiding the use of the diff panel toggle when working with multiple threads or worktrees.

Guidance

  • Try to reproduce the issue with a single thread or worktree to isolate the cause of the crash.
  • When working with multiple threads or worktrees, consider using an alternative method to view differences, such as using a separate diff tool.
  • If the crash persists, try to gather more information about the error, such as any error messages or logs, to help diagnose the issue.
  • Consider testing the same workflow on a different machine or environment to determine if the issue is specific to the M1 Mac Mini or the version of the software being used.

Notes

The issue seems to be related to the specific setup and workflow, and more information is needed to determine the root cause of the crash. The provided information suggests that the issue may be related to the use of multiple threads or worktrees, but further testing and debugging are required to confirm this.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Avoid using the diff panel toggle when working with multiple threads or worktrees, and consider using alternative methods to view differences. This workaround can help mitigate the issue until the root cause is determined and a fix is available.
