What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.506.31421 (2620)

What subscription do you have?

plus

What platform is your computer?

macos 15.7.5

What issue are you seeing?

Environment:

  • MacBook Pro 2019
  • macOS 15.7.5
  • GPU: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB
  • Codex app: 26.506.31421 (2620)

Issue: The plugin page has serious rendering problems on this machine.

When hardware acceleration is ON:

  • Entering the plugin area causes transparent overlay/blank obstruction
  • Parts of the page are covered or not rendered correctly <img width="881" height="773" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/15779b04-a8f8-4098-b00b-893e43b688eb" />

When hardware acceleration is OFF:

  • The transparent overlay is reduced or disappears
  • But the page still renders incorrectly, with color shifts, layout issues, and partial content drawing

This does not appear to be a problem with a specific plugin. It seems to be a general rendering / compositing compatibility issue in the Codex app on this Intel Mac.

Repro steps:

  1. Open Codex app
  2. Go to the Plugins section
  3. Click into any plugin page
  4. Observe the rendering issue

Notes:

  • Disabling hardware acceleration avoids the worst transparent overlay problem
  • However, the UI still looks incorrect without hardware acceleration
