Summary

I installed the Codex Chrome extension in Google Chrome, but it stays in Disconnected status.

The extension says: "Use the Chrome plugin in Codex to connect", but I cannot find any Chrome plugin inside the Codex desktop app, even after updating Codex.

Environment

• Device: Microsoft Surface Pro 11
• OS: Windows 11
• Account type: Personal account
• Browser: Google Chrome
• Codex Chrome extension version: v1.1.4
• Codex app: Updated to the latest available version
• Codex setting enabled: Browser usage / "Utilisation du navigateur"

Steps to reproduce

1. Install the Codex Chrome extension in Google Chrome.
2. Open the extension popup.
3. Observe that the extension status is Disconnected.
4. Open the Codex desktop app.
5. Go to Settings.
6. Confirm that browser usage is enabled.
7. Search for a Chrome plugin in Codex under Plugins / Apps / Connectors.
8. No Chrome plugin is available.

Expected behavior

The Codex desktop app should show a Chrome plugin that can be installed or enabled, allowing the Chrome extension to connect.

Actual behavior

The Codex Chrome extension remains Disconnected.

The Codex desktop app does not show any Chrome plugin, so there is no visible way to connect the extension.
