What issue are you seeing?

On Windows, after a Codex CLI session has been running for a while, the input box/prompt area automatically changes into an abnormal style, as shown in the attached screenshot.

The issue appears during a long-running session. I am not sure what exact action triggers it. The input box UI becomes visually corrupted or changes unexpectedly.

Codex CLI version: v0.134.0

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Open Codex CLI on Windows.
  2. Start or continue a conversation.
  3. Keep using the same session for a while.
  4. Observe the input box/prompt area.
  5. After some time, the input box style changes unexpectedly, matching the attached screenshot.

What is the expected behavior?

Expected behavior: The input box should keep its normal style throughout the session.

Actual behavior: The input box style changes automatically after the session has been running for some time.
