What issue are you seeing?

In the Codex desktop app, both the Plugins tab and the Skills tab render only fragments of their content. Large areas of the main content panel are blank or clipped, making both pages unusable.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Launch the Codex desktop app.
  2. Open Plugins from the left sidebar.
  3. View the Plugins tab.
  4. Switch to the Skills tab.

What is the expected behavior?

Plugin and skill cards, labels, descriptions, and controls should render fully.

Additional information

Actual Behavior

Both tabs show severe clipping in the main content area. Only fragments of text, partial cards, and add/check icons are visible.

Troubleshooting Attempted

  • Verified that the desktop app is on the latest available Intel build.
  • Restarted Codex and restarted macOS.
  • Cleared Codex cache and GPU cache.
  • Cleared saved application/window state and preferences.
  • Launched Codex once with GPU disabled.
  • Completely uninstalled Codex desktop and its local state.
  • Reinstalled from the official notarized Intel installer.
  • The issue still reproduces after clean reinstall.

Diagnostic Clue

A Codex session log contains this error:

ResizeObserver loop completed with undelivered notifications.
