What issue are you seeing?

The desktop app runs but at random points the entire app sort of blanks out and resets back to end of last session. However the agent is still running and working on things. if i wait a while then quit the app and go back in then all the session updates for the "stuck" session show up. I have tried multiple projects, rebooting and updating to latest macOS. I dont have any extra MCP's installed. This has been happening for past few versions of codex over that last week. It was rock solid before a week ago.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Its random but usually just have codex working on a swift app for 5 to 10 min triggers it.

What is the expected behavior?

Codex does the work and session updates without need to restart app.
