Root Cause

I could of course use the grouped per project view, but because I work on many projects this over time makes it hard to go switch between different current tasks because they disappear wayyy down in that one project. Especially true for non project chats, which go to the very bottom of the list as the last group and become virtually inaccessible for me after I went out of them. I don't think there's currently a good way to have both: recents first but with some easy indicator of project

What feature would you like to see?

Codex Desktop’s global recent / “All chats” list, when sorted by created or updated (not when grouped by project for example) should show compact metadata for each thread, not just the chat title and last-updated age.

When juggling many agent tasks across repos, it is hard to know what a thread belongs to without opening it. Each row should expose what project the thread belongs to, even if it makes each row a bit larger, it's suuuuper important for me.

Currently it shows only the chat name, whether it was an automation, worktree/cloud, and the sorted time. But not the most important: the project.

Another batch ranked right after the header list — different links, same matching logic.
