extent analysis

TL;DR

The issue may be related to user profile or permission differences between the two Windows user accounts, "administrator" and "hp", which is causing the Codex App to malfunction in the "hp" profile.

Guidance

  • Check the Windows user account permissions and settings for both "administrator" and "hp" profiles to identify any differences that might be affecting the Codex App's behavior.
  • Verify that the Codex App has the necessary permissions and access rights to run correctly in the "hp" profile.
  • Try running the Codex App as an administrator in the "hp" profile to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Compare the environment variables, registry settings, and installed applications between the two profiles to identify any potential conflicts or discrepancies.

Notes

The provided information lacks specific technical details about the Codex App's configuration, installation, or error messages, making it challenging to provide a more precise solution.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Try running the Codex App as an administrator in the "hp" profile or investigate permission differences between the two user accounts, as this might resolve the issue without requiring an upgrade or code changes.
