Environment:

  • App: Codex desktop app
  • Version: 26.513.31313
  • Architecture: x86_64 / Intel Mac
  • macOS: Intel MacBook
  • Install source: official OpenAI Codex download, not App Store
  • Locale tested: Chinese and --lang=en-US

Issue: Opening the Plugins page shows a large blank white rectangle overlaying the plugin list / hero area. Some plugin card content appears partially behind it, but the page is not usable.

Steps Tried:

  1. Restarted Codex
  2. Resized window and switched pages
  3. Reinstalled latest official macOS Intel build from https://developers.openai.com/codex/app
  4. Cleared Electron/Chromium cache:
    • Cache
    • Code Cache
    • GPUCache
    • ~/Library/Caches/com.openai.codex
  5. Cleared frontend state:
    • Session Storage
    • Local Storage
    • app Preferences
  6. Relaunched with --lang=en-US
  7. Issue still reproduces

Observed: Plugins page remains covered by a large blank white overlay.

Expected: Plugins page should render normally and allow browsing/managing plugins.

Notes: Sentry breadcrumbs/logs showed plugin/logo requests returning HTTP 200, so the data appears to load. This looks like a renderer/layout/z-index/overlay issue rather than a network or cache issue.
