What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Version 26.519.31651 (3017)

What subscription do you have?

Pro

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.5.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

After recent upgrades to the Codex app, the context window usage bar no longer appears. Previously, it was displayed at the bottom of the user input area near the model info, but I haven’t been able to see it for the past couple of days, possibly even a week.

I updated (simplified) tui.statusline config in config.toml file, but it didn't help.

I can see the context window percentage in Codex CLI.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Open Codex App
  2. Start a chat
  3. Notice context window usage bar is not displayed

What is the expected behavior?

The context window usage bar should be visible, as it was previously.
