extent analysis

TL;DR

The issue is likely related to the automatic update of Claude Code, which caused the process to exit with code 1, and reviewing the provided logs may help identify the root cause.

Guidance

  • Review the cowork_vm_node.log file to understand the sequence of events leading up to the crash, as the user has mentioned that the problem is visible in the logs.
  • Check the compatibility of the updated Claude Code version (1.3036.0) with the Claude Code SDK version (2.1.111) and the Opus model to ensure they are compatible.
  • Investigate if there are any known issues with automatic updates causing crashes in the Claude Code community or documentation.
  • Consider reaching out to the Anthropics support team for further assistance, as the user has already provided detailed logs and information about the issue.

Notes

The provided information is limited, and without more context or details about the logs, it's challenging to provide a more specific solution. The user has mentioned that this is not a regression, and it never worked, which might indicate a configuration or compatibility issue.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Given the lack of information about a previous working version and the fact that this issue never worked, it might be more practical to try and isolate the issue by testing different configurations or seeking support rather than immediately looking for an upgrade solution.
