Root Cause

Now however I received this message: "Your conversations have multiple flags for possible cybersecurity risk. Responses may take longer because extra safety checks are on. To get authorized for security work, join the Trusted Access for Cyber program: https://chatgpt.com/cyber"

What issue are you seeing?

I am using ghidra-mcp to port an application from raw disassembly to C#. Most of the time it went well, but multiple times the chats got flagged for security concerns - even when they were merely just code reviews.

Now however I received this message: "Your conversations have multiple flags for possible cybersecurity risk. Responses may take longer because extra safety checks are on. To get authorized for security work, join the Trusted Access for Cyber program: https://chatgpt.com/cyber"

I tried to enroll in the Cyber program though it states that I "can not start the verification. Try it again later or contact the support".

Its not a hunt for security issues, its just good old preservation (Old games mostly, Win16).

I am now concerned to proceed because I dont want that my account gets shut down.

I am on a Pro (non-lite) account, using GPT-5.5 (high).

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Use ghidra-mcp and tell Codex to use it.

What is the expected behavior?

Cyber enrollment should work, or the filter shall be softened.

extent analysis

TL;DR

The issue may be resolved by contacting support to address the verification issue with the Trusted Access for Cyber program.

Guidance

  • The error message suggests that the account has been flagged for cybersecurity risk, which is likely due to the content of the conversations, not the actual intent of the project.
  • To proceed, it's essential to resolve the verification issue with the Trusted Access for Cyber program, which may require contacting support as suggested in the error message.
  • In the meantime, it may be helpful to review the content of the conversations to ensure that it does not contain any keywords or phrases that could be triggering the security flags.
  • Consider providing more context about the project, such as its purpose and the type of content being discussed, to help support understand the situation and provide a more accurate solution.

Notes

The issue seems to be related to the content moderation policies of the platform, and resolving it may require cooperation with the support team.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Contact support to address the verification issue, as this is the most direct way to resolve the problem and avoid potential account shutdown.
