Section/Topic

Configure Claude Code

Current Documentation

The docs say:

When enabling Bedrock for Claude Code, keep the following in mind: ...

  • When using Bedrock, the /login and /logout commands are disabled since authentication is handled through AWS credentials.

What's Wrong or Missing?

This was previously true (that /login and /logout were not available), but no longer is. /login still exists, as do other commands historically unavailable by default (like /feedback, /bug, etc.).

I'm not sure if this is a bug in claude code or in the documentation

Suggested Improvement

Remove this note (and, ideally, indicate what /login does in the context where CLAUDE_CODE_USE_BEDROCK exists.

High - Prevents users from using a feature
