What version of Codex CLI is running?

codex-cli 0.121.0

What subscription do you have?

Pro plan, just purchased

Which model were you using?

No response

What platform is your computer?

No response

What terminal emulator and version are you using (if applicable)?

No response

What issue are you seeing?

I had a free plan, could use codex for like 4-5 prompts than it stopped working and told me to get a pro subscription to continue, I got it, and now it continues to tell me the same thing, I tried to logout and back in, same stuff.

Please help

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Uploaded thread: 019d9d3f-bda5-76a2-8b99-c91b48eaf922

What is the expected behavior?

The expected behaviour is that if the site says I have 100% of usage I should be able to use the thing. I connected with device code btw.

extent analysis

TL;DR

The user may need to wait for the Pro plan to be fully activated or contact support to resolve the issue with their Codex CLI subscription.

Guidance

  • Verify that the Pro plan has been successfully activated and synced with the Codex CLI by checking the account dashboard or contacting support.
  • Try restarting the Codex CLI or logging out and back in again to ensure the new subscription status is reflected.
  • Review the usage limits and quotas for the Pro plan to ensure they are not being exceeded, which could cause the error message to persist.
  • If the issue persists, provide more details about the platform, terminal emulator, and model being used to help troubleshoot the problem.

Notes

The issue may be related to a delay in activating the Pro plan or a syncing issue between the account and the Codex CLI. Without more information about the platform and model being used, it's difficult to provide a more specific solution.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Contact Codex support to verify the Pro plan activation and resolve the issue, as the problem may not be directly related to the Codex CLI version or usage.
