What happened?

I have an active Google AI Pro subscription on this Google account, but Gemini CLI shows Tier: Gemini Code Assist for individuals instead of Google AI Pro. Pro models are unavailable and Pro quota shows 100% with no reset time. CLI version: 0.40.0. Auth method: Signed in with Google.

What did you expect to happen?

that I will have professional models with Google PRO

I think not

extent analysis

TL;DR

The user may need to verify their Google AI Pro subscription and authentication method to access Pro models and quota in the Gemini CLI.

Guidance

  • Check the Google account used for signing in to ensure it has an active Google AI Pro subscription and that the subscription is correctly linked to the Gemini CLI.
  • Verify that the authentication method "Signed in with Google" is correctly configured and authorized to access Google AI Pro features.
  • Review the Gemini CLI documentation to ensure that the version 0.40.0 supports Google AI Pro subscriptions and to check for any specific configuration requirements.
  • Consider checking the Google AI Pro subscription status and usage outside of the Gemini CLI to confirm that the issue is specific to the CLI.

Notes

The issue may be related to authentication or subscription configuration, but without further information, it's difficult to provide a more specific solution.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Verify the Google AI Pro subscription and authentication method, as the issue may be resolved by ensuring correct configuration and authorization.
