I’m using Codex CLI 0.130.0 inside the Android Studio integrated terminal on macOS 26.5 arm64 with zsh. When Codex CLI is already running, copying and pasting a screenshot into the session works, and starting Codex with -i/--image also works. However, dragging and dropping the same screenshot into the running CLI session does not attach it as image context. I’m not sure whether this is an Android Studio integrated terminal limitation, a macOS screenshot drag/drop behavior, or something Codex CLI could handle differently. The issue is specifically with drag/drop screenshot attachment during an active CLI session. This comes up when debugging Android emulator or UI screenshots while the conversation is already in progress. I wanted to share this workflow gap in case it is useful for future CLI improvements.
