Error Message

The warning interrupted the session multiple times even though the activity was local safety tooling, not offensive security work. It also happened in another session where I was working on game development, but it i do not have the session uploaded for that. I think this error appeared at least 4-5 times on this one session alone.

gpt-5.5 xhigh

Windows 11 x64

What issue are you seeing?

A benign local Codex hook testing session repeatedly triggered the warning banner:

ⓘ This chat was flagged for possible cybersecurity risk If this seems wrong, try rephrasing your request. To get authorized for security work, join the Trusted Access for Cyber program. https://chatgpt.com/cyber

The work was authorized local configuration testing on my own Windows machine. I was testing a local PreToolUse file-safety hook under my .codex directory that blocks permanent file removal and requires using the Windows Recycle Bin helper instead.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Uploaded thread: 019e1446-3b9d-7141-924c-712943c30514

What is the expected behavior?

Codex should not show cybersecurity warning banners for authorized local file-safety hook testing on the user's own machine.

The session should be treated as normal local configuration/debugging work, especially when the goal is to prevent unsafe file removal and preserve recoverability through the Windows Recycle Bin.

Additional information

The cybersecurity interruptions are too trigger happy, please tone it down as it is creating a bit too much false positives in one day.
