Problem Statement

We are using VS Code and Code for IBM i. This creates a virtual file system that has access to the IBMi and shows the source members in an editor like source code that is on GitHub. Claude Code can not access this file system. So we can not use Claude Code like we would with source code on GitHub. We have to copy the files from the IBMi to a file system, work with Claude Code, and copy them back to the IBMi. This is a bit tedious.

Proposed Solution

Can a feature be added to Claude Code so we can access the files directly on the IBMi using the virtual file system?
