Problem Statement

Currently, only organization owners can upload and manage skills provisioned to a Team or Enterprise workspace. There is no way to delegate skill editing access to non-owner members, and shared skills are view-only for recipients. This creates a bottleneck for teams that want to collaboratively maintain shared skills.

Current behavior

Only owners can add or remove organization-wide skills via Organization Settings → Skills Skills shared peer-to-peer or org-wide are read-only for recipients There is no role or permission that grants skill editing rights short of full owner access

Proposed Solution

A tenant-level setting (or custom role permission) that allows designated non-owner members to edit and re-upload specific organization-provisioned skills — without granting them full owner access to the workspace.

Use Case Example

On consulting and analytics teams, skills are often domain-specific and maintained by subject matter experts who are not org admins. Requiring those contributors to go through an owner as an intermediary adds unnecessary friction and slows iteration on shared workflows.
