When using the Claude Code within the desktop application it would be cool if you could add images into the chat which then automatically get SCP'd under the hood into the current working directory. This feature seems to already exist within the telegram dispatch channel.

Problem Statement

When using the Claude Code within the desktop application it would be cool if you could add images into the chat which then automatically get SCP'd under the hood into the current working directory. This feature seems to already exist within the telegram dispatch channel.

Proposed Solution

When I add an image into the chat and press send, Claude should be able to download_attachment the same way it currently does when you send images through Telegram when using the MCP. However it could also run a direct SCP to the current directory since the ssh connection is already obviously established if you're working on a remote server within the desktop app.

Alternative Solutions

Currently just dragging and dropping photos into Cursor's sideview file tree when I need to add new images to the project.
