Guys you are killing me with all the updates. Get everything running the way I want and run an update and everything is messed up and it happens on almost every update. Some of us are using it for business automation and I got to say it is great for that but updates can put us down for hours trying to figure out what the update broke.

extent analysis

TL;DR

Implement a mechanism to prevent updates from altering agent permissions to minimize disruptions to business automation workflows.

Guidance

  • Identify the specific updates that are causing permission changes and assess their impact on business automation.
  • Develop an auto-fix script that can revert or adjust permissions to their previous state after an update.
  • Consider implementing a testing environment to validate updates before applying them to production systems.
  • Collaborate with the development team to prioritize "no break updates" that do not alter critical configurations like agent permissions.

Notes

The lack of specific details about the updates, agent permissions, and the current implementation limits the ability to provide a more tailored solution.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Implement an auto-fix script to mitigate the issue, as developing and deploying "no break updates" may require significant changes to the existing update process.
