Root Cause

Problem

When using Hermes with WeChat, the typing indicator ("对方正在输入中...") causes the chat interface to refresh frequently. This makes it difficult to select text from previous messages because the selection gets cleared each time the indicator updates.

Feature Request

Problem

Proposed Solution

Add a configuration option to:

  1. Disable typing indicator completely, OR
  2. Reduce typing indicator frequency (e.g., only send once at the start), OR
  3. Make typing indicator configurable per platform
