Feature Request

Hi Claude Code team! 👋

I'd love to see CLI sessions appear in the Desktop app's Recents section. Currently, it seems the CLI and Desktop app maintain separate session storage, so conversations started in the CLI aren't visible in the Desktop app at all.

Expected Behavior

It would be wonderful if CLI sessions could appear in the Desktop app's Recents, similar to how Codex automatically syncs sessions between CLI and desktop. This would make it much easier to switch between the two environments seamlessly.

Current Behavior

  • CLI sessions are stored in ~/.claude/projects/
  • Desktop app Recents shows no CLI sessions at all

Use Case

Users who work across both CLI and desktop workflows would greatly benefit from being able to resume CLI conversations directly from the Desktop app.

Thank you for considering this request! 🙏

Another batch ranked right after the header list — different links, same matching logic.
