What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.417.41555 (1858)

What subscription do you have?

Pro

What platform is your computer?

MacOS 26

What issue are you seeing?

All other plugins are available for install except the Figma one. However, custom Figma MCP works just fine. I'd still like to use the official plugin and skills.

TL;DR

The issue might be resolved by checking the compatibility of the Figma plugin with the current version of the Codex App or waiting for an update that includes the official Figma plugin.

Guidance

  • Verify if the Figma plugin is compatible with the current version of the Codex App (26.417.41555) by checking the official documentation or release notes.
  • Check if there are any known issues or bugs reported related to the Figma plugin in the Codex App community forums or GitHub issues.
  • Consider reaching out to the Codex App support team to inquire about the availability of the Figma plugin for the Pro subscription on MacOS 26.
  • If the custom Figma MCP works fine, it might be a temporary workaround until the official plugin is available.

Notes

The issue seems to be specific to the Figma plugin and its compatibility with the current version of the Codex App. Without more information about the plugin's requirements or known issues, it's difficult to provide a more specific solution.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Use the custom Figma MCP until the official plugin is available, as it seems to be working fine and provides similar functionality.
