What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Version 26.422.30944 (2080)

What subscription do you have?

Business

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 23.6.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

I just upgraded to the Business plan so that I could use Codex. Installed it, added some plugins, and issued my first prompt to use the Google Calendar plugin to create an appointment on my calendar. It didn't even finish. It crapped out saying that I hit my usage limit. Locked out for 5 hours, and I'm now at 87% usage for the week. From one prompt!

This is unacceptable, and surely has to be a bug. I have watch YouTubers building multiple apps, websites, videos, and more in less than 2 hours. And I can't even add a calendar appointment? What gives?

What steps can reproduce the bug?

extent analysis

TL;DR

The issue may be related to incorrect usage limit tracking or an unexpected spike in resource consumption by the Google Calendar plugin, and reviewing plugin configuration and usage patterns could help mitigate the problem.

Guidance

  • Review the Google Calendar plugin settings to ensure it's configured correctly and not causing excessive resource usage.
  • Check the Codex App documentation to understand how usage limits are calculated and what factors contribute to the 87% usage for the week.
  • Investigate if there are any known issues or limitations with the Google Calendar plugin that could be causing the problem.
  • Consider reaching out to Codex support for further assistance, as the provided information may not be sufficient to identify the root cause.

Notes

The issue description lacks technical details about the plugin configuration, usage patterns, and Codex App settings, making it challenging to provide a more specific solution.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Review and adjust plugin configurations and usage patterns to minimize resource consumption, as the root cause of the issue is unclear.
