What is the issue?

When I issue the request "When is Catholic Easter in 2026?" to Gema4-e4b through Ollama I am getting the answer "12th of April". When I do the same through LLM Studio or AnythingLLM to the same model but downloaded through the corresponding instruments the answer is "5th of April".

extent analysis

TL;DR

The discrepancy in Easter date responses between Gema4-e4b via Ollama and other interfaces may be due to differences in model versions or data used.

Guidance

  • Verify the model version and training data used by Gema4-e4b through Ollama and compare it with the versions used by LLM Studio and AnythingLLM to ensure consistency.
  • Check for any updates or patches available for Gema4-e4b or Ollama that may resolve the discrepancy.
  • Test the same query with different models or interfaces to isolate if the issue is specific to Gema4-e4b or a more general problem.
  • Consider reaching out to the developers or support teams of Gema4-e4b, Ollama, LLM Studio, and AnythingLLM for further assistance in resolving the discrepancy.

Notes

The lack of information about the OS, GPU, CPU, and Ollama version limits the ability to provide a more specific solution. Additionally, without access to the model's internal workings or the exact query processing pipeline, it's challenging to pinpoint the exact cause of the discrepancy.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Use LLM Studio or AnythingLLM for Easter date queries until the discrepancy with Gema4-e4b via Ollama can be resolved, as they currently provide the correct answer.
