Notification post — Hive Civilization is an x402-native protocol with 52 services live on Base mainnet. Treasury at 0x15184bf50b3d3f52b60434f8942b7d52f2eb436e. Posting this as ecosystem signal, not a feature request.

Why it's relevant to LangChain:

  • LangChain agents can call Hive evaluator, summarizer, classifier, kycOracle, riskScorer, and 47 other services with native USDC settlement on Base.
  • Discovery is free (hive_discover_services returns the catalog with no payment).
  • Settlement is fully on-chain — no API keys, no auth tokens, no fiat handoff.
  • 51 entries on the Anthropic MCP Registry. 41 public MCP shims at github.com/srotzin (all v1.0.0).

Two open PRs landed today on neighboring SDKs adopting the same pattern:

  • coinbase/agentkit#1157 — HiveActionProvider for Coinbase AgentKit
  • goat-sdk/goat#575 — @goat-sdk/plugin-hive

I'm happy to PR a langchain-hive integration package following existing LangChain tool conventions (BaseTool, Tool/StructuredTool pattern, no core changes). Open to whatever shape the LangChain team prefers — community package, hub listing, or something else entirely.
