Feature request
A built-in live voice mode in the Claude Code CLI for back-and-forth verbal conversation — speak to Claude, hear responses spoken back, without leaving the terminal.
Why
Users already cobble this together with Whisper STT + TTS daemons piped around the CLI, but it's brittle and requires a lot of glue. A first-class voice mode would be a big accessibility and quality-of-life win for users who spend their day in the terminal, and would parallel the live voice mode that exists in some web/mobile Claude surfaces.
