codex - 💡(How to fix) Fix New update loses Token Usage monitoring

What issue are you seeing?

Not sure if bug or intentional because I didn't see it mentioned in the update notes, but the Token Usage at the bottom of the chat input on the Codex desktop app no longer has the Token Usage icon and information that was next to the Intelligence and Model dropdown. That was incredibly useful to be able to track token usage for tasks. I also used it quite often to notify chats when they could expect an auto-compaction approaching and to prepare for that using checkpoints in order to re-anchor and continue work without problems.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

No steps, just missing this information or feature not being present on the text input now that I did the update.

What is the expected behavior?

I expected it to be there. Now there is no direct way to monitor token usage. That was the easiest most user friendly way to monitor that. Very useful and now it's missing.

If this was intentional, I ask that you all bring this back because it was incredibly useful for us. Please consider bringing this back ASAP.
