Environment

  • macOS: 26.4.1

Description

In Transcript view, Normal mode now renders full bash tool output inline. Earlier versions collapsed long outputs in Normal mode and reserved full output for Verbose. The current behavior makes Normal mode hard to scan: long stdout dumps push assistant prose off-screen.

Expected

Normal mode collapses long tool outputs to a short preview with expand-on-click. Verbose continues to show full output.

Request

Roll back Normal-mode rendering to the prior behavior, or add a setting to opt out of inline expansion.
