openclaw - 💡(How to fix) Fix Question: Who has realtime voice (Talk Mode) working on Android/iOS? What's the current experience?

I'm running OpenClaw self-hosted (gateway on Linux, Telegram channel) and my users want a ChatGPT-like real-time voice conversation experience on their phones (Android/iOS).

From the docs and issues I can see:

• Talk Mode with STT→chat→TTS is available on macOS/iOS/Android apps
• Realtime (speech-to-speech) via OpenAI Realtime API exists for voice-call plugin and browser WebChat
• Issue #71195 tracks macOS Realtime Talk Mode
• Issue #40242 requests webchat voice mode

My questions for the community:

1. Has anyone actually set up Talk Mode (STT/TTS) on the Android or iOS app and can share how well it works in practice? What latency are you seeing?
2. Has anyone gotten the realtime speech-to-speech path working on mobile (Android/iOS) via gateway relay?
3. For Talk Mode on mobile — which TTS provider are you using? Is Microsoft Edge TTS (free, no API key) working well enough for a decent voice experience?
4. What's the current state of the Android app for real conversations — is it stable enough for daily use?

Any real-world experience reports would be super helpful! 🙏

Context: Self-hosted OpenClaw on Linux, ollama/glm model, currently using Telegram for text chat. Looking to add voice interaction.
